According to the California Highway Patrol, a deadly motor vehicle crash occurred in Merced County that claimed the life of a person on Saturday. The officials confirmed that only one vehicle was involved in the collision.
Approximately at 4:00 a.m., a rollover crash took place on Highway 99 and Le Grand Road, south of Merced. When the officers arrived at the location they found the man dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
