The Los Angeles Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash that killed a man and left 5 others injured in Los Angeles on Sunday.
At around 3:05 p.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred on the Santa Monica (10) freeway at Hoover Street. As a result, a man in one of the vehicles was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. Five passengers in that vehicle, out of whom four were children, were severely injured.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
