The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Lancaster that claimed the life of a woman on Saturday.
At around 9:42 a.m., a woman driving her Mitsubishi Outlander southbound on 20th Street failed to stop at a red light and collided with an Infiniti G35, which was traveling westbound. As a result, the driver of the Mitsubishi was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
