The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash that killed one person on Saturday in Fremont.
At approximately 8:38 p.m., a vehicle traveling northbound on Mowry Avenue, a white sedan, and a blue Toyota Prius collided with each other. As a result of this collision, at least one person is believed to have been fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
