Bellevue Police Department authorities on a Saturday morning reported one fatality and another individual hospitalized after a motor vehicle accident.
At approximately 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, Bellevue officers and medics from the Bellevue Fire Department rushed to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash on 108th Avenue Northeast, close to State Route 520.
Upon arrival, responders discovered the body of the car’s passenger, who had succumbed to their injuries. The 26-year-old driver was transported to a hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are currently investigating the incident and have reason to believe that alcohol played a significant role in the fatal crash. Details regarding the identity of the deceased victim have not been divulged yet.
