According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was killed in a motor vehicle collision in Placer County on Tuesday. The officials confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the crash.
A motorcyclist was driving his vehicle southbound on Highway 65, Sunset Boulevard, at an unknown speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle then crashed into another vehicle. As a result, the motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
