According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle collision that took place in Hollywood claimed the life of a person on Monday.
Approximately at 5:40 a.m., on the southbound 101 freeway, near Santa Monica Boulevard, a person travelling in the vehicle was struck by one or more vehicles. The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
