The California Highway Patrol reported a Hit-And-Run collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Campo on Thursday. The accident occurred at Custer and Sheridan Roads.
According to the officials, a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in a collision. Roughly at 5:28 p.m., a motorcyclist riding his motorcycle was struck by an SUV. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at that moment.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
