The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Yuba County on Tuesday. The accident occurred on a private farm near Feather River Boulevard, east of County Road 512.
According to the officials, a single motor vehicle was involved in the collision. A Polaris off-road utility vehicle was headed east when the driver lost control. This caused the vehicle to leave the road and crash.
The driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
