1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Tulare (Tulare, CA)

The Tulare Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident that killed a pedestrian who was supposedly walking train railroads on Thursday.

On Thursday approximately at 8:25 p.m., a pedestrian walking on the railroad tracks was hit by a train in the Sonora Avenue area and killed onsite. Officials discovered that it was a 41-year-old man who was walking northbound on the tracks when hit by the train. 

The identity of the pedestrian is not disclosed yet. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at this moment.
