The Tacoma Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Saturday night. The accident occurred near Portland Avenue, East 44-48th Street. The time of the accident is not yet known.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. The events leading up to the crash are not yet known at this time. The force of the collision caused the car to lie on its die in the middle of the road.
One of the people present in the vehicle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. The officials have not disclosed any information on whether there were others in the vehicle.
