1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Savannah (Savannah, GA)

The Georgia State Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident on Monday.

The accident occurred on Highway 17 in Chatham County at around 7 p.m. 

According to the officials, the police were chasing a motorcyclist on the highway. 

The motorcycle then collided with the back of another car. The driver of the car was uninjured in the collision.

The driver of the motorcycle incurred critical injuries and was killed in the accident.

The identity of the deceased person has not been disclosed pending notification of the next of kin. 

The officials have reported that the deceased victim was wanted in both Chatham and Bryan counties. They have not disclosed why. 

The fatal accident is still being investigated. 

There are no other details available at this time.
