The Santa Rosa Police Department reported a deadly motor vehicle accident that killed a pedestrian in Santa Rosa on Wednesday.
A pedestrian who was crossing Sebastopol Road, outside of a crosswalk was struck by a Black 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital immediately. However, he was pronounced dead later. The driver of the truck, a 70-year-old, remained at the location and cooperated in the investigation.
The identity of the pedestrian is not yet revealed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
