According to the Santa Clarita Police Department, a person was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Santa Clarita on Saturday. Roughly at 12:42 p.m., a man was struck by a Mini Cooper and another vehicle at Market Street and Railroad Avenue.
One person involved in the crash was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the other people involved in the crash.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
