The San Jose Police Department has reported a motor vehicle accident in San Jose that claimed the life of a bicyclist. According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the crash.
Roughly at 3:25 p.m., a bicyclist riding his bicycle on East Santa Clara Street was struck by a 2003 Lexus that was traveling westbound. As a result, the bicyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
