According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, a pedestrian was killed in a motor vehicle accident in San Diego on Monday.
Approximately at 3:41 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a Coaster train near Bay Park Neighborhood, on Morena Boulevard and Tecolote Road. The events leading up to the crash are not yet known at this time.
Even after medical aid, the pedestrian was killed by injuries, the authorities said. The identity of the pedestrian is not yet disclosed.
It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
