Tragedy struck on the South Side as a woman lost her life in a rollover crash at the intersection of Del Lago Parkway and Vermilion around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The fatal motor vehicle accident unfolded when the woman’s vehicle overturned multiple times. She was fatally injured as a result and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is not yet known at this time.
San Antonio police suspect that the victim may have encountered tire trouble leading up to the crash. The passenger did not incur any injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to understand the sequence of events that led to this fatal outcome.
