According to the California Highway Patrol, a person was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Riverside County on Sunday. The accident occurred in the Lake Matthews area.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision. At approximately 9:28 p.m., a motorcycle and an SUV crashed into each other in the Lake Matthews area of Southwestern County.
As a result of the accident, a person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. The officials have not disclosed if there were others injured in the crash.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
