The Rialto Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident that killed a motorcyclist in Rialto on Saturday. The accident occurred in the left lanes of Foothill Boulevard at around 12:15 p.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision. A motorcycle was travelling westbound, on the left lane. The driver lost control and crashed into a Nissan Maxima. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Maxima was uninjured.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
