According to the authorities, a person was killed in a motor vehicle rollover accident in Rancho Cordova on Friday.
Roughly at 4:30 a.m., a person was driving his vehicle on Grant Line Road, north of Douglas Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle toppled down. This caused a person to be thrown off the vehicle and killed. The other two passengers encountered injuries.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
