According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a motor vehicle accident in Perris claimed the life of a person on Friday. The accident occurred at around 11:00 p.m.

A person driving a 2002 Honda Accord collided with a 2014 Nissan Quest in the 2200 Block of North Perris Boulevard, near Avocado Avenue. The driver of the Honda Accord was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
