Caltrain officials reported a motor vehicle accident in Palo Alto on Friday morning. The accident occurred near California Avenue at around 7:59 a.m.
According to the officials, a person and a Caltrain were involved in a collision. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. The person hit was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time.
