According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Napa Valley on Saturday. The crash happened on southbound Highway 29 south of Big Tree Road at around 11:30 p.m.
According to the investigators, the driver of the vehicle and the passenger were involved in the collision. The driver of the 2019 Toyota Tacoma pickup struck a tree and was arrested on felony manslaughter and drunken driving allegations.
The officials stated that the passenger of the vehicle suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Napa Valley Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
