The Nacogdoches Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred in the 2200 block of Southeast Stallings Drive at around 4:34 p.m.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in a collision. The vehicle was headed east on the road when the driver lost control.
The driver of the vehicle was critically injured and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time.
The officials have reported that the man was having a medical emergency at the time of the fatal crash. This is supposedly what caused it. There are no other details available at this time.
