According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Milpitas on Wednesday. The crash happened on Interstate 880 near Anthony Spangler Elementary School at around 11:55 p.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown person and a 2004 Toyota were involved in the collision. The Toyota driver veered to the right, collided with the metal guardrail, and collided with the pole.
According to the reports, the driver suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Milpitas Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
