The Lubbock Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday. The accident occurred in the 3400 block of North University Avenue at around 4:32 p.m.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. The events leading up to this are not entirely clear at this time. However, the vehicle ended up rolling over due to the collision.
One of the people present in the vehicle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
