The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Lake Elsinore on Saturday night. The accident occurred on Mission Trail, 500 feet south of Hidden Trail, at around 11:59 p.m. 

According to the officials, a vehicle and a pedestrian were involved in a collision. The events leading up to the crash have not been disclosed at this time. The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. The officials have confirmed that alcohol or drugs did not play a role in the fatal crash. There are no other details available at this time.
