The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident on Friday. The accident occurred in the westbound lanes of Highway 58, near Keene just after 7 p.m.
According to the officials, a vehicle was headed down the westbound lanes of Highway 58, near Broome Road when it lost control. This caused the vehicle to roll over several times before coming to a rest.
One of the people present in the vehicle was fatally injured and pronounced dead. Their identity is not yet known at this time. It is not yet known if there were other who has also incurred injuries.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
