The Irving Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Friday night. The accident occurred on Interstate 635 at around 12:40 a.m.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. The vehicle had travelled into the centre median of the highway. This caused it to flip multiple times.
The force of the flips caused the passenger to be thrown from the vehicle. The passenger was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. The officials reported that alcohol could be the reason behind the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
