Tragedy struck in north Harris County on Tuesday morning as a fatal crash unfolded in the 22400 block of Aldine Westfield Road near Hirschfield Road. Constable Mark Herman’s Office confirmed the grim outcome, pronouncing one person dead at the scene.
In response to the motor vehicle accident, Aldine Westfield Road has been temporarily closed, redirecting traffic towards Treaschwig Road. Deputies are urging drivers to avoid the area if possible.
The circumstances leading to the crash and the number of vehicles involved remain undisclosed as investigators work diligently to unravel the details surrounding this event. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
