1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Grant County (Grant County, WA)

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reported a single-vehicle collision on Tuesday. 

The accident occurred on Road B Northwest between Roads 19 and 20 near Ephrata just after 11:00 a.m. 

According to the officials, a vehicle was crossing a bridge while driving north on Road B. The bridge was covered with ice and the vehicle lost its grip and crashed into a utility pole before landing in a ditch. 

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The officials have confirmed that the weather was a contributing factor in the fatal accident

The accident is still being investigated. 

The road remained closed for around 5 hours while the investigation took place. 

There are no other details available at the moment.
