The Goodyear Fire Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Sunday. The accident occurred near Van Buren Street and Parryville Road. The timing of the accident is not clear at this time.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. The car had crashed into a power pole. The events leading up to the crash are not yet known at this time.
A baby, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, who was a 28-year-old man, was critically injured and rushed to a hospital.
