The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident in Glendale on Saturday night. The accident occurred on the Loop 101, near Cardinals Way at night.
According to the officials, a person was walking across the road when he was hit by a vehicle. The person was then hit by a second car.
The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The drivers of the two vehicles involved in the fatal crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
