In Gardena, a fatal crash occurred early Sunday morning, claiming the life of one person and injuring three others. The motor vehicle accident transpired around 5:10 a.m. at the intersection of Marine and Chadron Avenues.
The California Highway Patrol reported that one victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders promptly transported the three occupants from inside the vehicle to a hospital. However, their current conditions remain unknown. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and at this time, no additional details have been provided. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
