The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident in Dallas on Thursday. The accident occurred on the President George Bush Turnpike, near Miles Road at around 1:37 p.m.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. A 2021 Dodge Challenger was headed west when it veered off the road. It then crashed into the concrete barrier before continuing for another six miles. The vehicle then rolled over after veering off the roadway again.
The driver was thrown out of the vehicle and was fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. There are no other details available at this time.
