The Baldwin Park Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Saturday. The accident occurred at Vineland and Pacific Avenues at around 1:15 p.m.
According to the officials, a vehicle and a bicycle were involved in the collision. A pocket bike was headed down the street when it was hit by the vehicle. The events leading up to this are not entirely clear at this time.
The bicyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
