The Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services reported a motor vehicle accident in Austin on Saturday night. The accident occurred on East Slaughter Lane, near Bluff Springs Road at around 10:02 p.m.
According to the officials, at least one vehicle was involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision have not been disclosed at this time.
At least one person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. The officials reported that another adult was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
