The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle accident in Arlington on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred in the 19300 block of Jordan Road at around 11 a.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. The officials reported that the part of the road where the accident occurred was slick with fluid. This caused a sedan to lose control and crash into a gravel truck.
The front-seat passenger of the sedan was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, the second passenger of the sedan, and the driver of the gravel truck were airlifted to different hospitals for treatment.
The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
