According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Anderson on Sunday. The crash happened on northbound Interstate 5 at Deschutes Road at around 5 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Toyota Rav4 and three unknown people were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the vehicle ended up about 30 feet off the road on its four wheels after overturning.
Two unknown people suffered minor injuries and an unknown person suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Anderson Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown victims.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Police.
