In Acton, a motorist lost their life in a tragic single-vehicle rollover crash at the Santiago Road onramp to the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.
The motor vehicle accident, involving a blue Honda CR-V, occurred around 9:55 p.m. on Saturday. The driver, the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The fatal crash prompted a SigAlert, which was later lifted at 12:51 a.m. According to a source at the scene, the SUV veered off the freeway, became airborne, and ultimately crash-landed on the opposite side of the street before rolling over multiple times.
