The Orange Police Department reported a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a man in Orange on Sunday. At around 6:10 a.m., a pedestrian was walking on the south sidewalk at the Orange (57) freeway.
They were then struck by a vehicle. The vehicle that struck the man escaped the scene. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the vehicle involved. The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
