1 Person Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Houston (Houston, TX)

A fatal hit-and-run crash in southwest Houston has left authorities investigating the tragic incident. The crash occurred on Friday night when a man was struck at approximately 9:15 p.m. while trying to cross into the main traffic lines at the 2600 block of Kirkwood Road and Westheimer.

Reports indicate that the victim was not using the crosswalk at the time of the collision. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run, described as a red, unknown model, was found unoccupied later on Briar Forest Drive.

Houston police have not yet released the identities of the victim or the suspect involved in the incident, and details regarding the circumstances surrounding the crash remain limited as the investigation continues.
