1 Person Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Fort Worth (Fort Worth, TX)

 

Fort Worth Police reported a hit-and-run accident in Fort Worth, Texas, on March 29. The crash occurred early Friday morning on Interstate 30 near Brentwood Stair Road in Fort Worth, resulting in the death of a pedestrian.

Authorities responded to the scene around 6:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a man who was fatally injured, possibly by multiple vehicles, while trying to cross the freeway on foot. MedStar Ambulance confirmed his death at the scene. Authorities are withholding his identity pending notification of his family by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. 

The westbound lanes of Interstate 30 were closed for about three hours as investigators worked at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the collision.
