According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a hit-and-run crash that took place in Carson claimed the life of a man on Tuesday. The accident occurred roughly at 11:40 p.m., at the intersection of East 213th Street and Selwyn Avenue.
According to the officials, a vehicle hit a pedestrian. The man was fatally injured and was declared dead on the spot. The vehicle that struck the man escaped the scene before the police could arrive.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
