According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Whittier on Saturday. The crash happened at Cullen Street and Parise Drive at around 3:15 p.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown man and a 29-year-old man were involved in the collision. 29-year-old Jeffrey Flores was identified as the driver of the unknown vehicle that struck an unknown person.
The officials stated that the unknown person suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The Whittier Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased victim.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Police.
