A man was found in a car with a deceased person in White Settlement, leading to the arrest of 31-year-old Nestor Lujan Flores. White Settlement Police responded to a welfare check, discovering Lujan Flores unconscious in a Kia Forte with significant damage.

Upon closer inspection, a human body was found in the front passenger seat assuming a hit-and-run accident. Lujan Flores claimed he thought he hit a deer in Dallas and drove about 40 miles to White Settlement.

Police believe the victim, likely a pedestrian, was struck severely, thrown into the car, and landed in the passenger seat from the fatal crash. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. Lujan Flores faces charges of intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop.
