According to the Visalia Police Department, a hit-and-run accident in Visalia killed a man on Friday. Roughly at 9:01 p.m., a man walking was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead later. The vehicle that struck the man escaped the location. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the vehicle involved in the crash.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
