In a tragic hit-and-run accident in Tucson on Sunday, Nov. 26, a man lost his life near First and Fort Lowell around 6:30 p.m. The Tucson Police Department confirmed the fatality, stating that the victim died at the scene, while the responsible vehicle fled.
As a result of the incident, the intersection remains closed, and drivers are advised to avoid the area. The police are actively investigating the fatal crash to identify the victim and gather information on the suspect and vehicle involved.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
