According to the Nevada State Police, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Reno on Wednesday.
The crash happened on Military Road in Lemmon Valley at around 8:15 a.m.
According to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, an unknown person was struck by an unknown vehicle.
The officials stated that the victim suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Reno Police have not confirmed whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
The name and identity of the victim have not been disclosed by the authorities.
The accident is still being investigated.
