According to the Pomona Police Department, a person was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Pomona on Friday. Roughly at 11:13 p.m., a motor vehicle accident took place at Towne Avenue and Philadelphia Street.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the drivers was critically injured and was transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead. The driver of the other vehicle escaped the scene.
The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
